DIY DRY SHAMPOO
My go-to recipe for years and years. The original recipe calls for cornstarch and baking soda but I omit them because I don’t do well with baking soda over time and I prefer the feel of arrowroot powder. This recipe is adaptable and is cheap and easy to make.
RECIPE
1/4 C Arrowroot Powder
1 TBS Cocoa Powder (add more if you have darker hair, mine is light brown)
2 drops Cedarwood essential oil
2 drops Lavender essential oil
1 drop Rosemary essential oil
Combine in a jar and shake. There’s no wrong way to do this. I dip my fingers into the mixture and then rub it straight onto my scalp. Works wonders!!
Don’t use the oils if you don’t have any. I like the smell of oils in it and this particular combo is great for the scalp. You can get these oils here if you’d like #affiliate.
Affiliate links don’t cost you a thing but support people like me for which I am very grateful. Thank you.
