I truly am in love with linen bedding and have used it for years now. It keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the summer (which kind of blows my mind). It’s also soft, breathable, and great at wicking away moisture, helping to keep your body temp regulated at night. Plus it adds the most beautiful, lived-in, textured, cozy look to your bedroom.
While I have purchased from Brook Linen and Parachute Home (pillowcases pictured are PH) in the past (and love both), I have been just as happy with this French Linen duvet cover from Amazon that is more affordable. The color I have is Natural and it is the perfect sand color, but they have other colors that are beautiful too. I also love the wood button closure along the bottom. Adds a bit of farmhouse charm. This one also has great reviews, lots of color options, and is about the same price point but has a zipper on the bottom. So if you like the zipped up look, that might be the way to go.
While I’ll always prefer a down insert for the feel and the weight, if you’re in the market for a down alternative duvet insert, I have this one and this one and have been happy with both. They each have over 110k reviews and are rated 4.5 stars so I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed. And I combine them currently to add oomph to my bedding. Personal choice but I prefer a thicker comforter simply for the look.
One note on linen: Depending on where you purchase from, you may have to wash your duvet and pillowcases a few times before they get that perfectly soft and cozy feel that linen is so well known for. But have no fear, they will get there and you will LOVE them.
Go Linen!
