The resort town of Chamonix at the base of the French Alps is one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever been. The Alps blow you away with their beauty and the town is the quintessential village of every skier’s dreams.
We were there in October so it wasn’t quite ski season but we took the tram to the top of the mountain to see Mont Blanc and experience the lodge, cafe, and gift shop up there. I can’t describe in words how vast and gorgeous the view is from 12,604 ft. It will take your breath away and leave you in awe.
This Airbnb was just outside of town and was perfect for our little group. We would totally stay here again. I loved that it had a big table to eat and play cards at. It had a stunning view of the Alps from the living room. The beds were comfy and the house was clean and cozy. The owners were also so kind and welcoming and very helpful when it came to recommendations and how to get places. They recommended a hike that we ended up doing and loved. All in all a great place!!
