Do you love coffee?
If you do then you know there are a slew of ways to make it. Just visit my friend Holly’s house (😘) and you’ll see how much real estate such ways can consume. And if you hail from the PNW (hi!) then you pretty much don’t have a choice…it’s written in your DNA to care.
We were gifted a Chemex recently (thank you YOU! 🤗) and that has been our preferred choice of coffee brewing as of late. It uses a pour-over brewing method with a medium coarse grind similar to what you would use for a French Press. You’ll want to use filters made for Chemex cause they’re thicker. Regular filters will break on you (been there done that 😬). CoffeeSock makes reusable organic cotton filters that last a year. We haven’t tried them but I want to! The thicker filter reduces the pass-through of bitter solubles resulting in a bright, delicate cup of coffee. Delish! Plus you don’t get any grit slipping through like you do with a French Press. Such a great gift that we use every day!
How do you like to make your coffee?
You’re welcome! 😝
Was waiting for you to see that 😘
