Hands down my favorite construction/hiking socks. We have done a lot of both and these are the socks I always come back to. They don’t bunch, they don’t slide, they don’t slip, they don’t rub, they don’t irritate. I love them. You’ll never get a blister with these guys. They are my go-to socks for most activities.
But here’s the real clincher. Darn Tough guarantees their socks for LIFE. I own more than just these 6 pairs shown here and at this point, I should never have to buy another pair of work socks again. So yes, you might pay $20-$30 for a pair, but once they’re worn out, you send them in for new ones at no cost to you. Amazing!
I’ve tested it out too. The only thing you’ll pay is the shipping to return the pair you’re replacing to Darn Tough which at most is a few bucks. They’ll automatically send a new equivalent pair of socks to you for free!
I bought all of my DT socks on sale and unless I lose them, I shouldn’t ever have to buy new ones. I like these, these, and these but you really can’t go wrong.
The one caveat IMO is if you lose your socks regularly, it may not be worth the cost. Every pair I’ve bought for Jake somehow has been lost so we weren’t able to get new ones since you have to send them in to get them replaced. But if you don’t usually have that problem, their warranty is a win.
