Floating the river will forever be one of my favorite summer pastimes. And the Delaware does not disappoint! It’s always a good idea to call or check online for the river report to see how high it is and how fast it’s flowing. That can help you determine if you want to go, what time you want to get started, and where you’ll end. We usually start here for an average 2.5 to 3-hour float and we end here. Intex sells great floats that are designed for the river. We’ve bought these (singles & doubles) and if you take care of them properly they’ll last you for years. You’ll also want to snag a pump & a life jacket. Happy floating!!
