If you know me IRL you have seen my hair look like this a lot in the past couple of years. If I don’t wave it, it’s stick straight. It dries stick straight, which I am not complaining about because it’s easy, but it also means my hair is fine and lacks volume and who wants that? Not my personal favorite lol. Which is why “waving” is my latest obsession. When I add volume and texture, my hair lasts much longer between washes (this helps too!). Plus it’s always fun to add a little oomph. I prefer this method over curling these days because it’s super fast and is a little different than the typical long hair curl that’s been everywhere over the last 10 years (I do love that too though). Plus it gives 20’s and 30’s vibes.
This is the tool I use. It has a lock to keep it closed when not in use and it’s not huge like some of the barrel wavers. I can set the temperature for my type of hair which is nice. It has a long cord and automatic shut-off (safety first!). And it has worldwide dual voltage for when we’re traveling.
