a little bit of everything

farmgirl flowers

Do you ever send flowers to people? There’s something so special about receiving flowers in the mail. I always feel thought about and loved when I get flowers. I know it’s not everyone’s cup of tea but for me, it’s a favorite way to give to my loved ones and it’s one of my favorite things to receive.

That being said, it’s not always easy to find a company that has bouquets you WANT to send. Most of them are pretty generic and it feels more like a formality in sending them because they’re not ones you would actually put together yourself and want to display in your own home. That kind of takes the fun out of sending them. But years ago someone sent Krystal flowers from Farmgirl Flowers and I fell in LOVE. Their signature burlap-wrapped bouquets are stunning. Since then, I have sent many a flower delivery to people in my life and I’ve received quite a few as well. Whether you’re on the giving or receiving side of Farmgirl Flowers, you are happy.

What makes FGF different? It’s all in the details. From the box they’re shipped in, to the upcycled burlap to the beautifully curated arrangements, they are unique and gorgeous. I received an unexpected delivery from a friend one time but didn’t get it for a couple of days because we were out of town, the flowers were PERFECT when I opened up the box (pictured above). And though I already knew I loved this company, that solidified the deal. They send each stem in a little vial of water so even if that happens, the flowers are secure and have plenty of water to keep them alive. Genius.
