pour tu

a little bit of everything

November 13, 2023

inness restaurant | accord, ny

The restaurant at Inness came highly recommended and did not disappoint. The setting was beautiful, simple, rustic, and elegant. The servers were kind and attentive. The food was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. All in all, it was a night to remember and I already can’t wait to return.

I got the Sunset Valley cocktail. I love the smokey flavor of Mezcal paired with citrus. A perfect pairing when done right (IMO). The marinated baby beet salad with fall grapes, tarragon, and lemon yogurt. I don’t think I’ve ever had a grape and beet together but the combo made my mouth explode in delight. I could eat that every day.
And the bean cassoulet with roasted oyster mushrooms, napa cabbage, and fresh herbs. Basil was the herb and it brightened the whole dish most beautifully. Tons of flavor in this one.

I like trying new things when I go back to a restaurant but I would order these dishes again they were so good. There really is nothing like a good meal with great friends in a cozy atmosphere. Dining at its finest…one of life’s simple but most profound pleasures.
