a little bit of everything

nyt cooking app

If I could have a kitchen full of cookbooks I would. I love the look of books in a kitchen and there are so many good ones out there to glean inspiration from. I even have pictures on my phone of cookbooks I want to get someday. But living in tiny spaces for so long has limited my book collection and has programmed me to look elsewhere for inspiration.

Enter the NYT Cooking app. I use two apps for recipes (both of which I pay for) and I get sooooo many great ideas from both of them. But the NYT cooking app is the one I go to most often. And this is where I’ve found my favorite recipes when I’m looking for dishes to cook for others. The only downside is you can’t share a recipe with someone unless they pay for the app as well. But I usually just screenshot it and send it over. It’s $40 annually (so a little over $3/mo) but I’ve gotten it 2 years in a row for $20 annually because of special promos. So it’s totally been worth it.

I also google or Pinterest recipes if I’m looking for something specific but if I really want a crowd-pleaser, NYT Cooking is my go-to.

Where do you go for recipe inspiration?
