pour tu

a little bit of everything

February 8, 2024

the magic bullet

As you can see from the picture, this is a well-loved machine in our house—quite possibly the hardest working kitchen appliance we have. I bought this one in 2016 and haven’t looked back.

I’m going to be honest. A Vitamix is my number one choice when it comes to blenders. But I’ve lived in tiny spaces for the past 8 years, so I haven’t had room for a Vitamix. THIS is the next best thing. Its blending power rivals the Vitamix. It’s just a lot more compact so it fits in my cupboard. I had it in my tiny house and our van; now it’s with us in our studio. Jake and I use it every day for our smoothies and I often use it to make nut milk, salad dressings, parsley water, etc. It’s a powerhouse we love.

I also love that when it loses its blending abilities over time, i.e. the blade gets dull, you can buy a new blade and cup on Amazon for a good price. Easy peasy.
